PULIRE 2019 opens tomorrow

PULIRE has catered to the professional cleaning sector for more than 30 years, based on the notion that sanitation represents an essential aspect in creating healthy lifestyles. More than 300 exhibitors from 21 countries, some of the leading international organizations, industry leaders and more will be introducing their most innovative solutions to the more than 16 thousand visitors from 100 nations around the world. After a very positive 2017 edition, PULIRE 2019 expects to host five foreign delegations from the United States, Morocco, South Africa, Turkey and Egypt, operators partnering with the Italian Trade & Investment Agency to meet exhibitors and develop new business deals in their countries, through meetings held in a booth specially dedicated to the negotiations.

Lots of exciting news this year, announced by Toni D’Andrea, the Managing Director of the trade show organizer, Afidamp Servizi: “New ideas are spread throughout the trade show event. One very important change is the new partnership forged with ISSA, which took many months to complete and will certainly lead to a substantive repositioning of the image of event in the industry. This hybridization of visions and different regulations, which have redefined the nature of the project, have made PULIRE more interesting and effective.” Among the many new ideas, what truly distinguishes this edition is the long-awaited first edition of the “PULIRE 2019 Product of the Year” award, with which the event organizers aimed to recognize the research conducted by companies that work in the professional cleaning industry and the effectiveness of the products introduced on the market. The award drew 33 candidate products from 24 Italian and international companies. PULIRE was a trailblazer to suggest a prize that would recognize the efforts and progress made by manufacturers in the field of innovation. It follows its Innovation Prize, which has endured 20 years through the last ten editions.

Over the three days of the event, Veronafiera will play host to current industry topics, from distribution data to the new CAM. Events will include presentation of the booklet, ‘Cleaning in food service’, the most recent publication by Afidamp. It joins the collection of literature published by the association on the topic of professional cleaning, gathering the experience of industry professionals over years of research. Finally, a section is dedicated to operator training. To make participation in PULIRE more effective for visitors and exhibitors, the event has also developed an official app to create calendar events, view maps of the halls, scan official badges, and much more.
